We here at the TV Fugly Awards know how tough it is being a television viewer.

You get stuffed around by all the networks for no reason. All you want to do is spend some quality time in front of the teev. But they make life so difficult - constantly shuffling shows around their schedules, dropping episodes in non-ratings weeks, burying shows in time slots so late that you would need to be sponsored by Redbull to be able stay up for, subjecting you to constant repeats of shows you no longer care about or never getting to see a brand spanking new hotness of a show you have been anticipating to watch but then it never gets shown on a free-to-air network because the television executives would rather put Friends or Gladiators back on the box. Gee, inspired programming choices people.

Which is why we the humble organisers of the TV Fugly Awards want to give Australia’s viewers a big pat on the back by naming one of you Australia’s Best TV Viewer.

All you need to do is tell us why you think you are the country’s most dedicated couch potato and we will put it to the wise counsel that are our voters to decide if it is so.

Step 1.
Record a short video of yourself pitching your case on why you are ‘Australia’s Best TV Viewer’. What makes you the best viewer could be anything - maybe it’s how much you stayed loyal to a show/channel despite dodgy programming tactics or how many hours a week you watch or your general knowledge of all things on Australian telly. Be as creative as you want but make your case a good one. Note: please just make sure the video is less than 3 minutes long.

Step 2.
Upload your video to Youtube. (You’ll need to create an account on Youtube to do that)

Step 3.
Send an email to awards@fugly.com.au with a link to your video at Youtube.

Step 4.
We will then put all the videos up here on the TV Fugly Awards web site for people to watch and choose the person who deserves the honour of being named Australia’s Best TV Viewer.

The Prizes
Unfortunatly there’s no $$$ in it as we don’t make anything from The Fuglies and because we’re poor. But you will get:
- a genuine paper certificate just like real TV Fugly Award winners Eddie, Kyle, et al.
- recognised as Australia’s Best TV Viewer and featured on this web site for the next 12 months
- and we’ll try to talk our mates at Another Bloody Water into giving you a case of their fine product.
